Contemplating the idea of cross-pollination amongst the different state departments located in the North Valley Complex, we designed this artwork to reflect the important research done within the building. Inspired by hidden worlds discovered under magnification, these sculptures reflect natural growth systems of beehives, cell and plant structures, and molecular architecture. These intricate forms mimic them in artistic ways, creating new perspectives on what isn’t always visible to the naked eye.
